Money for Couples
No more stress. No more fights. Just a 10-step plan for making money simple. — Ramit Sethi
Ramit's follow-up to I Will Teach You to Be Rich, built around the couples he's worked with on his podcast. Less "who's right about money" and more "how do we stop fighting about it and start designing a shared rich life." Filled with scripts, worksheets, and uncomfortably honest examples.

About the Book
Money for Couples is structured around the idea that most money fights aren’t really about money — they’re about identity, security, childhood, and unspoken expectations. The book gives couples a shared language and a set of concrete conversations to have before the next fight happens.
What’s in it
- Your rich life, together. A vision exercise: what do we actually want to spend on, skip, and splurge? Specific, not generic.
- The four money types. How each of you relates to money (Avoider, Optimizer, Worrier, Dreamer) and what happens when types collide.
- Monthly money meetings. The ritual that replaces fighting: an hour, a calm agenda, the same time each month.
- Scripts for hard conversations. Combining finances, prenups, helping parents, spending disagreements — actual language you can borrow.
- Automation, together. The money flow set up so neither partner is “the finance person.”
- Kids and money. What to teach, when, and how.
How we’ll read it
The book is full of dialogue and exercises. Expect to bring your own experience to the discussion — and to do some of the exercises before or during our meetings. (All private; sharing is optional.)
