The final date is about legacy: the story you want to tell, together, at the end of your life. Honoring each other's dreams is the deepest act of love.
Exercises
- Each of you writes down three lifetime dreams — things you want to do, be, experience, or leave behind.
- Take turns being the dream-teller and the dream-catcher: one shares, the other listens without fixing.
- Ask: What does this dream mean to you? Where does it come from? What would it cost to let it go?
- Identify one dream you can honor together in the next year — and one small step toward it this month.
- Write a shared mission statement: if our relationship had a purpose, it would be ______.
